A government system is the general framework of a country. It is made up of various branches of government, each with their own set of authorities, tasks, and responsibilities. There are various forms of government, including democracy, monarchy, oligarchy, and authoritarian governments. Each has unique qualities and advantages. Democracy is the government of a community in which all citizens have the right and opportunity to participate, rather than favored individuals or organizations. It is a system in which leaders are elected and citizens' rights are protected under the rule of law. There are numerous democratic models, but they all share several fundamental traits. A DEMOCRACY is a political system in which citizens freely make decisions by majority vote.
